A busy few weeks got capped off nicely with a sweet songwriters-in-the-round gig at Ottawa U with Craig Cardiff, Carolina Hum, and Giscar. We were lucky to play at the lavish Huguette Labelle Hall on campus.

I’m staying close to home in March in order to finish up the rest of the recording for my next album. It’s coming along really well and I can’t wait to share it. I’ll be taking a quick trip to London, Ontario on March 13 to play at Fanshawe College as part of their “Music Nooner” concert series. It’s free and open to all, so don’t hesitate to stop by if you’re in the area.

Winterfolk was a wonderful experience! Two sets in full-capacity rooms filled with kind, attentive folks. It was nice to be back on the Danforth and I got to hear lots of great talent throughout the weekend. Thanks to the organizers and all the volunteers!

I’ve got two shows this weekend – on Friday, I’ll be playing some tunes to welcome guests at the Toronto Outdoor Adventure Show from 5 – 8pm. I’ll have paintings with me, too! This one of Lake Superior is brand new and will go well with songs about paddling and the north shore.

On Saturday afternoon, I’m looking forward to Source of the Song at the Glen Williams Town Hall, where I’ll be joining Wendell Ferguson, Ambre McLean, and host Bruce Madole in a songwriter’s circle from 2 – 5pm.
