All aboard “The Canadian”

After a plane, a car, and a couple of ferries, my BC tour has come to a close. Thanks to everyone in Cumberland, Vancouver, Vernon, Kelowna, Ashcroft, and Port Alberni for welcoming me. What a visually stunning province. The terrain changes so much from place to place.

I walked on beaches, hiked on trails, touched the Pacific Ocean, ate more than my share of candied salmon, saw goats on a roof, and breathed in deep to smell the trees in Cathedral Grove. Soon I’ll be taking the train back to Toronto. I’m the on board musician on the long-haul that leaves Vancouver on Tuesday evening. Can’t wait to roll through the Rockies!
Folks in Ontario can see me in Fingal (near London) on Saturday, June 28 at House of Harmony, with Allison Brown.

Beautiful British Columbia

Planes, trains, and automobiles. And ferries! I’m flying out to Vancouver Island tomorrow. From there, I begin my BC tour with a show on Thursday night at StudioLive! in Cumberland.

All the gigs are really different – there are theatres, cafes, a chocolate store, an outdoor concert series…even a performance as part of the Sunday Celebration at a Centre for Spiritual Living. I’m looking forward to exploring a province that I’ve never seen outside of its largest city. If you know anyone on the west coast, please spread the word!
I’ll be rolling home in a couple of weeks, courtesy of the VIA Rail On Board Entertainment Program, with three days of performances on The Canadian as it crosses the country from Vancouver to Toronto.
