I’m writing from Thunder Bay. After 1500 kms of driving and four shows (Flesherton, Sudbury, Thessalon, and Wawa), it feels great to relax in this city for a bit. The fall colours are out in full force around the Soo – lots of reds blazing straight into my eyeballs. Up here in Thunder Bay, it’s mostly greens and golds. And rushing water.

I had a wonderful, sleep-deprived weekend along the Huron, surrounded by fantastic musicians and good people. Loved the sunset on the beach in Kincardine, the fish ‘n’ chips from Eerie Belle, the theatre at the Kincardine Centre for the Arts, Stratford’s perfectly-manicured lawns, and all the garlic I could handle!
