After a week inside the Delta Chelsea hotel in Toronto, I’m saying goodbye to my first Folk Alliance International conference with immense gratitude and a heart full of music. What a wonderful community…how lucky I am to be a part of it.
I’ll be driving through the snow to Huntsville for this afternoon concert series. If you live in the Muskoka area, it would be great to say hello to you at the Ravenscliffe Grassroots Music Festival.

What a lovely way to start the year. The gig at The Mascot in Toronto on Sunday was a little slice of sweetness. Evalyn Parry mixed spoken word, songs, and selections from her spectacular show, SPIN, and we were treated to some cameo appearances by collaborator Brad Hart. Series organizer Amy Campbell debuted a whack of new songs and brought along some stellar band members – Cheryl Reid and Carlie Howell. Check out some of the snapshots!
