The last few weeks of summer shows ranged from extreme heat and tornado warnings to hungry mosquitos to camping crowds on hilly terrain. All part of the special setting of outdoor live music! I have loved playing for you, sprawled out in grassy fields, against shield rock, under tents and tarps.

I recently had the opportunity to play this beautiful Laskin guitar on stage at Hugh’s Room Live in Toronto, as a guest at Christine Lavin‘s concert.

Before the show, Christine and I caught up backstage and we recorded an episode of her radio show One On One Plus One, which airs on Folk Music Notebook, an online streaming network dedicated entirely to folk music.
