It’s true what they say about that Albertan hospitality

As I get ready to leave snowy Calgary, I want to thank the folks at The Nick for welcoming me into their wonderful community. I had a great time opening for Martin Simpson. Thanks to Eric at the club for taking this pre-show photo!

Clackety-clack, from Toronto to Saskatchewan, to Alberta, and back

Tonight I board the westbound “Canadian” VIA Rail train out of Toronto. I’ll be playing music for passengers all the way to Saskatoon. From there, it’s a Greyhound bus tour with stops in Saskatoon and Lloydminster, and a final hurrah in Calgary, opening for Martin Simpson at The Nickelodeon Music Club.
Please be kind, November weather!
