Slow down

It’s been snowing in Toronto for two days and the temperature is dropping. It’s time to slow down those highway speeds, slow down those molecules. I’m writing more and travelling less at this time of year.
In the spirit of slowness, here’s a laid-back, solo acoustic version of Love in a Moving Van, recorded live at the Northeast Regional Folk Alliance conference in November by Your Heaven Audio.

Fall tour wrap up

The fall Forest Fire tour came to an end on Friday night, with an intimate show in a beautiful space. Thanks to Chris White for taking this photo from the back of the room at allsaints Event Space:

It was the perfect ending to a hectic tour full of long solo drives and tight flight connections.

Thanks to everyone who supported Forest Fire with pre-orders, radio airplay, newspaper articles, concert tickets, and encouraging words. It was particularly special to share my Toronto CD release with an excellent band made up of Kev Corbett, Bret Higgins, and Rosalyn Dennett. It’s an honour to make music with you.
Here’s a clip from that night. Thank you, again. New adventures are waiting in the new year.
