Spring touring in Canada meant snowstorms in Wells, BC, in Saint John, NB, in Dartmouth, NS, and now as I catch up at home in Toronto.

It was a whirlwind five week trip that began in Florida, followed by tours in British Columbia and the east coast, with a cross-country train ride in the middle. Thanks to everyone who hosted me and fed me, and the audiences who came out to the shows. Special thanks to VIA Rail for having me on The Canadian and The Ocean as the on board musician from Vancouver to Halifax. What a way to see the country!

I’ll be back on the road at the end of the month with shows in southwest Ontario and the midwest USA, followed by some dates in North Carolina in May. Hope to see you and some spring weather!

Touring in Florida in March has been one of the smarter routing decisions that I’ve made in my music career, and I’m looking forward to returning to the southern state this month. I’ve got a week of shows in Florida before flying out to British Columbia and then taking the train across Canada all the way to Halifax.

I’ll be playing music on the train courtesy of VIA Rail’s On Board Entertainment Program. There’s no better way to watch spring start to bloom than at ground level.
