Summer in the city

June was in bloom all over the northeast United States. I drove country roads and logging routes through sunny skies and thunderstorms. I went over green mountains and along the winding Susquehanna.

The weather was perfect for my first festival performance of the summer, at the Mountville Folk Festival in Aldie, Virginia. Thanks for the warm welcome! I love that festival feeling and you cultivate it so well. Glad to represent Canada on your sweet stage. Joleen Byrd took some nice photos, including this one:

July has me sticking close to home in humid Toronto, with several performances in the city, including a free show in the park, an open video shoot at an art gallery, and a song swap at the Painted Lady. Check out the gigs page for more information.
